Traditionally, caravans were often associated with retirees seeking leisurely travels and relaxed lifestyles. These seasoned travelers sought the open road to explore new destinations, often after their careers had concluded.
The allure of a slower-paced life and the freedom to explore at one's own pace were key drivers for this demographic. However, as societal norms and values evolve, a new wave of younger families has begun to embrace the caravan lifestyle, reshaping its perception and purpose.
The younger generation's gravitation towards caravanning can be attributed to a variety of factors. With the rise of remote work opportunities and flexible schedules, families now have the chance to combine work and play in ways that were once simply not possible.

New Nomad Adventures is a brand new TV show that is proposed to premiere in 2024 on network Television.
The show follows three real Aussie families as they travel to some of Australia’s best offroad touring locations each in their own unique way.
This is not just another offroad touring show, New Nomad Adventures is true reality meets adventure series with a whole lot of amazing travel mixed right in.
Think similar in format to shows like Travel Guides, but 100% focused on the caravan, camping and touring lifestyle. Forget shows full of ads and ‘experts’ telling you what they think.
Each of our families will simply share their adventures, both good and bad. We will see them living, working and exploring the amazing country they proudly call their own back yard, and in doing so, inspire others to follow in their footsteps and enjoy life on or off the road.

Ben and Hayley are true adventurers at heart, owning and running not one but two successful offroad businesses. The first being a Sydney based 4WD workshop helping others build the vehicle of their dreams. The second is their very successful offroad tag-a-long tour business Adrenaline Offroad Tours. In the first season of the New Nomads we get to ride along with Ben and Hayley as they share their unique adventure lifestyle with us!
4 Boys and a Caravan are a full-time travel family of 6, Tom, Aimee and their four boys, Tyler, Lincoln, Jett and Chase. They have been travelling around Australia in their caravan since January 2018.
After taking the leap of selling their house in the North Eastern suburbs of Melbourne and almost everything they owned.
They wanted to live a more simple, minimalist lifestyle making memories while the kids are young and spending quality time together as a family.
Doing all this whilst showing their boys this amazing country we call home.
Originally planning for a year on the road, it has now turned into 6 years living and working on the road!

Chloe and Jayden and their 3 daughters have already done one lap, and now its time to go again. Now equipped with their Isuzu Expedition Truck and Prime Edge Caravan this travelling family is ready to hit the road!

Our team have spent the last decade producing, shooting and creating lifestyle TV programs and have spent countless hours planning, filming and capturing content on the road. In 2022, directors Dave and Alicia created their own production house E3 Media.
Previously host and director of the popular lifestyle series The Offroad Adventure Show which ran for 8 seasons on network Ten.
Dave & Alicia have also produced episodes of Whats Up Downunder, Tough Tested & were the co-creators of Exploring Off the Grid which also aired on the Ten Network in 2023.
The New Nomads is the next exciting multimedia offering from the E3 Media team.

WHY NETWORK
We want to work with a network that supports outdoor lifestyle television and the 10 Network has a proven record of showcasing great lifestyle content.
Our team have worked with the 10 network over the last decade producing and delivering over 100 episodes of television including The Offroad Adventure Show and Whats Up Downunder so we would like to continue the relationship with The New Nomads.
The Ten network have previously worked with us to develop a great partnership where we can premiere episodes on the 10 and 10 Bold channels, feature them on Ten Play for 30 days and then recut episodes into shorter digital content for our online channels.
We would like a similar arrangement for New Nomad Adventures.
